A vision to provide tasty sweets and savouries in and around Park Town, Chennai with a great mission to provide them with quality and nutritious value inspired Sri. K. Venkataraman Iyer to start a sweet shop in central Chennai near the sacred place, Kandakottam Sri Muthukumaraswamy Temple before 45 years.
Now M/S. K V Iyer Sweets and Savouries has grown to be a well established Brand in Chennai realising the dream of its Founder. It has already sown the seeds for a Chain of Restaurants across India. The driving force behind the organisation is the indefatigable toil of two brothers, Sri. S. Ramesh and Sri. S. Madhan Mohan to whom the baton of rich sweet tradition has been passed on by their late grand-father, Sri. K. V. Iyer. The third generation is also making its mark with Chi. R. Vishveshvaran, great grand-son of K. V. Iyer handling the day to day activities of the shop.
